Join us in helping the Lamar University Green Squad to sort recyclables as they are dropped off. This volunteer opportunity is outdoors so wear closed toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (don’t forget sun protection & water.) Bring work gloves or other hand protection.

If unable to volunteer please drop off your presorted & clean recyclables from 11-1:

•FLATTENED CARDBOARD

•ALUMINUM CANS (NO TRAYS OR FOIL)

•GLASS (ALL COLORS; LABELS & LIDS STAY ON)

•#1 PLASTIC BOTTLES (WITH CAPS AND LIDS)

•#1 PLASTIC THERMOFORMS (BERRY BASKETS)

•#2 PLASTICS (DETERGENT, MILK CARTONS, SHAMPOO BOTTLES: WITH CAPS AND LIDS)

•STEEL CANS (PEOPLE AND PET FOOD WITH LID AND LABELS)

Don't bring any other plastics/unmarked plastics, grocery bags or styrofoam.
